12 Days of Karaoke 2012 Day 1: "We Are Young" by fun.

This song almost didn't make the cut because it's sooooo overplayed. There was a good time out there where you couldn't go anywhere without hearing "Toniiiiiightttttt." But fortunately for you, karaoke connoisseur, that will work to your advantage. Because even though most of the world is sick of this song and would immediately change the channel if it came on the radio, at karaoke it's considered one of the greatest songs ever. Especially by drunk folk. They love the sing-along of the chorus; the verses are simple enough; the "Carry me home tonight" in the bridge is a fun change of pace, and the song is basically about having a good night and forgetting your problems. Awesome.
